My free iPhone has went down the drain, literally

I received my free iPhone just over 2 months ago.

Well I was getting out of a friends car last week and my iPhone fell out of my pocket and straight down a drain! I couldnt belive it. Probabally one of the best gadgets I have ever had, and it was sitting down a drain in about 2 foot of dirty water!

I quickly ran and got a fish net and started fishing around the drain. After about 20 minutes..it was in my net!

I quickly ran inside and flushed it with clean distilled water and stuck it in a zip bag full of rice. After 3 days of it sitting in the rice I took it out and had a look and I couldn’t see water behind the screen anymore so thought I would try and plug it into iTunes to see what happened. IT TURNED ON!! I tried a few apps and it was working, i was so happy! 2 minutes later, it turned itself off, and it hasn’t turned on again since.

So I now have a totally dead water damaged iPhone, it still looks shiny and new, but it doesn’t work. It breaks my heart! I have been without it for a week now and I still miss it everyday.

I am going to save up my referrals again and get a new one. I am on a mission to get this done ASAP as I cant live without an iPhone! I want the new iPhone 3Gs but its 5 more referrals than the 3G version. I will see how it goes and if I will be patient enough to wait for the 5 extra referrals.

As always I will keep updating this blog with info and screen shots of how I am doing. I currently have 0 referrals as I ordered a £119 cheque a few days ago (wish I didnt now and kept the referrals! The cheque was 7 referrals)

As soon as I get my new  iPhone I am purchasing insurance! I recommend you do too when you get your free iPhone.
